Want to start your day in the best way? Muffins are perfect for a special breakfast or a delicious snack. But the real magic is that they hide a delicious secret inside: a soft and tasty chocolate heart that will conquer young and old.
Ingredients for 12 Muffins:
Butter 180 g
Sugar 200 g
Eggs at room temperature 2
00 flour 400 g
Baking powder 16 g
Bicarbonate 1 teaspoon
Whole milk at room temperature 250 g
Vanilla pod 1
Salt up to 1 pinch
Chocolate drops 50 gr
12 teaspoons of Spreadable Cream with 45% Hazelnuts
Procedure:
To prepare the muffins with a heart, first start by melting the butter in a bain-marie or in the microwave and let it cool. In a jug (or bowl) pour the milk, the lightly beaten eggs and the now cooled butter.
Mix with a fork (or whisk) and set aside. In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and baking powder, then add the sugar and a pinch of salt.
Now cut the vanilla pod along the long side and extract the seeds inside which you will add to the mixture.
Insert the electric whisk into the bowl with the powders and turn it on at very low speed while also pouring in the liquid mixture a little at a time: in this way you will mix everything together, avoiding the formation of lumps.
In the end you will get a smooth and homogeneous dough. Insert the paper cups into a classic 12 muffin mold. Pour the dough into a piping bag without a nozzle and squeeze out enough to fill half the paper cup.
At this point add a nut of our Hazelnut Spreadable Cream without pushing down, otherwise the cream will remain at the bottom.
Squeeze out more dough to cover the heart with Hazelnut Spread and pour in the chocolate chips. Bake the muffins with the heart in a static oven preheated to 190° for 25 minutes. Once cooked, your muffins with the heart will be slightly golden on the surface, let them cool before serving.
