If you are looking for an irresistible dessert, the roll with Pistachio and Hazelnut spreadable cream is the ideal choice. Ingredients

For the biscuit dough:

  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g of sugar
  • 80 g of 00 flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or vanillin)

For the filling:

  • 350 g of Mammmà Pistachio and Hazelnut Spreadable Cream

To cover:

  • Powdered sugar to taste
  • Bitter cocoa powder to taste

PROCEDURE

To prepare the roll with our Pistachio and Hazelnut Spreadable Cream, start by breaking the eggs into a bowl. Add the vanilla extract and start whipping the eggs with an electric whisk. When they are frothy, add the sugar little by little to make them frothy.

Continue beating until the eggs are whipped. Turn off the mixer and sift the flour directly into the eggs. At this point, mix with a spatula with movements from the bottom to the top, until the flour is completely absorbed.

Grease and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, making sure the paper hangs over the edges. Pour the mixture into the baking sheet and gently smooth it out with a spatula.

Bake in a static oven preheated to 220° for about 8-9 minutes. Once cooked, immediately remove the biscuit dough from the baking tray and turn it over onto another sheet of baking paper. Let it cool before removing the sheet of baking paper. Then cover it again with the sheet of baking paper and let it cool.

At this point pour our Pistachio and Hazelnut Spreadable Cream and cover the entire surface, leaving a free edge on all sides of 2 cm. Roll up the roll from the shortest side. Wrap it again with baking paper making sure that the closure of the roll is facing downwards, seal the sides well and leave to rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Finally, unwrap it and sprinkle it first with cocoa and then with icing sugar. Your roll with Mammmà Pistachio and Hazelnut Spreadable Cream is ready to be served!
